Description
Better Dummy socks, unisex, 80% cotton, 17% nylon, 3% spandex. Colored JNRB socks "Better Dummy" reproduce the ingenious advertising of the company, painted by the famous constructivist artist Alexander Rodchenko in 1923. A hundred years ago! But how relevant is the drawing! And the text for this advertisement was invented by Vladimir Mayakovsky: "There is Not, and Never Has Been, a Better Dummy". From 1923 to 1925, Rodchenko and Mayakovsky jointly designed several advertising campaigns, and all their posters are the greatest works of art. Mayakovsky called his advertising poems "poetry of the highest qualification." Among the enterprises that were lucky enough to become clients of artists are Rezinotrest, Mosselprom (remember: "Nowhere but in Mosselprom"?), GUM, Molodaya Gvardiya, Dobrolet.
